Complaining Harry Potter fans:
Stop. Just stop. I’ve been a huge fan of the series since I was in second grade, but the films are just not big winning Oscar films. If there was a literary equivalent to the Oscars, yeah, definitely. But no. Before you jump down my throats, I love every aspect of Harry Potter and I agree that they have touched generations. However, that is not what the Academy is about, sadly.

Today was really wonderful.
I haven’t had this much fun in awhile. My friends and I didn’t do anything ridiculously exciting in particular. Just went to eat, walked around Main Street and then watched Rent later. I don’t know, it’s just one of the first times in awhile that I’ve felt happy and part of something. I’m really grateful I met such a great group of people here.
